Fresh Junk: Knee High Gladiators

Untitled-3 copy

So the fug girls may have decried my little Ashley's gladiator sandals back in '07, but anyone blind enough to hate on Chloe Sevigny is dead in my book. Truth be told, they're a little intense, and the Topshop ones seem a little bit intimidating (the loopiness of the other straps don't help much), but I'm sooo dying for a pair of statement gladiator shoes, and these are the perfect price (€50), will no doubt the perfect mix of shock and awe (hopefully less of the former), and are the perfect accompaniment to all those flimsy floral things I have. Thoughts?

i've been trained to look at what any olsen is wearing and think, "cool," but when i try to look at ashley's objectively, i see black starfish clinging to her legs. like in the little mermaid, when the starfish jump on vanessa (ursula).

hmm...it may just be me but seems that it takes certain sorts of legs to pull off complicated footwear like this.

i like them. I think i like the thopshop ones better than the ashley ones. i think you should get them. I would if they were selling them in australia (we're slow). Imagine doing all the buckles up though!

I love the gladiators Ashley is wearing, but the thought of so many straps around my already short legs makes me scared.

Oh god how did I miss seeing all the buckles in the back?

don't even remind me of knee-high gladiators.
i went to put mine on this morning, and i had a perfectly thought out outfit to wear with them.
so i go to buckle them up (which believe me, takes a looong time), and what do i notice ? they are two left feet. i was so upset !
i bought them back in january and i had been dying to wear them, and now was my perfect opportunity.
plus they were marked down to 20$ from 120$, and final sale :[
waahhhh.
so now i'm focusing on fringed sandals.
but i still want my kneehighs.

Those shoes are amazing. I love the fluid lines.

i just stumbled upon your blog and i literally just spent 20 minutes reading archived posts. i love it. :)

i'm all for gladiator sandals, but the fluid lines on these bother me. i'd much rather see more a more rigid design. like ashley's in the photo.

the one thing i hate about gladiator lace-ups, though? the tan lines. HORRENDOUS. haha.

yeah i guess it's not as bad as it could be....
but yeah.
scaryy tan lines.

no one can convince me that gladiators are hideous shoes. i've been looking for a pair but no success yet. if this is the perfect price for you, i believe u should get it!

I love knee-high gladiators! Do it.

Both pairs seem crazy! Won't they cut off the length of your leg a bit too much? Also any shoes that take longer than 30 secs to put on can't be worth it.

bonadrag.com has the best ones - they are much more simple than those ones above.

Knee-high gladiators are fantastic, but the loopiness of these just look a little weird. Go for more traditional ones, because they're a fantastic shoe. ^^

Hi, OMG they are sooooo cool! Love them, where to get a pair like that? :)

Hi Nice Blog .The detailed Knee, for example, of the bronchial tree as seen through the bronchoscope is now of great importance. The introduction of laparoscopic and thoracoscopic instruments to explore and operate in the abdomen and thorax respectively has also opened new vistas as surgeons require to learn their anatomical landmarks through these approaches.
